Wrapped in Warmth. Designed to Keep You Close.

Originally designed in 1938 by Danish architect Viggo Boesen, the Little Petra Lounge Chair is more than just a piece of furniture—it’s an invitation to unwind.

With a gently flared back that mimics a hug, this chair wraps around you in the most comforting way.

The plush, cushioned seat welcomes you to stay a little longer—whether you’re reading, chatting, or just enjoying a quiet moment to yourself.

Our 1:1 recreation stays true to every thoughtful detail of the original, from its perfectly balanced proportions to its cozy silhouette.

The result? A chair that doesn’t just look inviting—it actually is.

One Shade. All Embrace. A Classic in Cream.

Sometimes, one color is all you need.

This creamy white version of the UF Astra Chair blends effortlessly into any space—from airy minimalist lofts to warm, layered living rooms.

The soft sherpa-style fabric isn’t just pretty—it’s textured, touchable, and delightfully cozy.

In the right light, the creamy tone gives off a soft glow that feels clean, calm, and just a little indulgent.

No wild color combos, no trendy risks—just one timeless shade that works everywhere and never tries too hard. That’s the beauty of simple done right.

      Viggo Boesen

      Designer

Viggo Boesen (1907–1969) was a Danish architect and furniture designer, renowned for his contributions to the development of Danish modern design. A key figure in the mid-20th century design scene, Boesen’s work is celebrated for its elegance, comfort, and sculptural qualities.

Boesen studied at the Danish Academy of Fine Arts and was influenced by the functionalist design principles of the time. He worked with wood as his primary material and sought to combine traditional craftsmanship with modern design techniques. His most famous designs often featured organic, flowing shapes that were both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Boesen's designs were deeply rooted in his desire to create furniture that felt natural and inviting. He sought to make designs that were comfortable, human-centered, and in harmony with the natural world. His work often reflected an emotional connection to the materials, particularly wood, which he used in a way that highlighted its warmth and beauty.

Softness You Can Feel, Comfort You Can Trust

Fabric is the soul of a lounge chair—and we don’t take shortcuts. We use high-quality faux shearling with tightly curled fibers that feel like a warm hug from the very first touch. It’s plush, cozy, and gentle against the skin—perfect for unwinding after a long day.

A Backrest That Has Your Back

The generously curved backrest isn’t just easy on the eyes—it’s built to support you just right. Thoughtfully designed to cradle your body from every angle, it creates that wrapped-in-comfort feeling you only get from a well-made chair. Lean back, let go, and stay awhile.

Sit Deep. Sink In. Stay Comfortable.

With an extra-wide seat and thick high-resilience foam, this chair balances softness and support like few others. It holds its shape without feeling stiff—giving you that “just right” cushion feel every time you sit. No sagging. No shifting. Just deep, lasting comfort.

Solid Wood Legs. Built to Last.

Crafted from sturdy ash wood, the legs are angled outward for maximum stability and visual balance. We tested and adjusted the height and tilt over and over—so you don’t have to think twice. Weighing in at about 21kg (46lbs), it holds over 100kg (220+ lbs) with ease and style.
