Return & Refund Policy

We take pride in designing mid-century modern furniture & modular furniture & sectional sofa furniture that’s meant to live with you for years to come. If for any reason you’re not fully satisfied, we’re here to help—within reason and with respect for product quality and integrity.

1. Order Cancellation

Before Shipping
Free cancellation. Please contact our support team at [service@unicafurn.com] with your order number. You’ll receive a confirmation within 12 hours.

After Shipping, Not Yet Delivered
Orders may still be canceled, but return shipping fees will apply based on product category (Currency unit: USD):

  • $500 ~ $650 for large furniture (sofas, cabinets)

  • $300 ~ $450 for modular Nexus systems (customized orders cannot be cancelled)

  • $200 ~ $350 for mid- century modern furniture (storage space, trolleys, chairs, stools, trash cans, coffee tables, side tables, display shelves.)

  • $50 ~ $100 for accessories (shelves, stools, hardware)

2. Order Modification

Before Shipping
Modifications are allowed free of charge. Please email us within 12 hours of order placement.

After Shipping
No changes can be made once the order has shipped.

3. Returns & Exchanges

We do not recommend returns unless the product arrives damaged, defective, or differs significantly from its description.

Rest assured, UnicaFurn upgraded the packaging for all of our furniture on July 30, 2026, with enhanced protection designed to reduce the risk of damage during transit.

If damage still occurs, it is most commonly caused by rough handling during last-mile delivery. In this case, please provide us with clear photos showing the damaged product and affected areas so our team can quickly assess the issue.

We typically offer the following three solutions:

  1. Minor Damage or Damaged Components
    If only a small area, part, or component of the furniture is damaged, we will arrange an expedited replacement for the affected part and provide a video showing how to complete the replacement. We will also issue a 10% partial refund as compensation.
  2. Major Damage
    If a large area or major component of the furniture is damaged, we will arrange an expedited replacement and send you a brand-new item of the same model.
  3. Return for a Full Refund
    If you prefer to return the item, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label within 12 business hours. Once the returned item is received at our New York warehouse, we will promptly issue a full refund to your original payment method.

However, if you no longer want the furniture due to personal reasons, we do accept returns within 90 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging.

Return Fees:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping.

  • A 20% restocking fee will apply for non-defective returns.

Non-returnable conditions:

  • Items with visible wear, scratches, or stains not caused by shipping.

  • Custom-painted or made-to-order items.

4. Warranty Policy

UF Nexus Series & Sofa Series:
We offer a 10-Year Structural Warranty on all UF Nexus modular components & Sofa Series. UF Nexus: including panels, connectors, and support tubing. Sofa Series: including high-resilience sponge couch, may experience breakage, bulging or uneven filling due to normal use. This covers material defects, construction failures, and non-user-induced structural issues.

All Other Products:
Covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty against material or manufacturing defects.

5. Return for Quality Issues

If your item arrives damaged or has a quality issue:

  • Contact us at [service@unicafurn.com] within 72 hours of delivery.

  • Include clear photos or videos of the issue.

  • For functional or structural defects verified by our team, we will offer:

    • Replacement parts (free of charge)

    • Full replacement

    • Or full refund (if necessary)

Minor cosmetic imperfections on hidden areas or due to packaging are not eligible for return or refund.

6. Packaging & Returns

All returns must include:

  • The original packaging

  • All accessories (legs, screws, manuals, etc.)

  • New and slightly used products, resaleable condition

If repackaging is required, we can provide packaging for a fee:

  • From $500 for large furniture

  • $200 - $450 for small modular units & sofa & chairs & stools & table & cart & shelf & trash can & containers

  • $50 - $100 for accessories

7. Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the return is received and inspected. Please allow 1–3 business days for your bank to process the transaction.
