Geometry in Motion. Personality in Every Curve.

Don’t mistake its playful form for mere decoration—this stool is geometry at work.

With rhythmically repeating grooves and a soft, gear-like silhouette, the Pilastro Stool transforms Memphis aesthetics into a piece of everyday function.

Its all-rounded body offers comfort and safety, especially for families or tight spaces.

Use it as a bedside perch, a hallway accent, or even a coffee table stand-in.

Designed by Ettore Sottsass and brought to life by Unicafurn, this piece delivers sculptural charm with surprising versatility.

6 Colors. One Icon. A Thousand Possibilities.

Bold or muted, matte or radiant—your space, your rules.

Pilastro comes in six expressive hues: from the deep calm of retro green to the soft neutrality of off-white, and the energizing twist of matcha green.

Each color isn’t just a tone—it’s a mood enhancer. Want contrast? Mix and match. Prefer minimalism? Stick with tone-on-tone.

Whether you saw it styled as a side table or a show-stopping entryway stool, the palette ensures this icon fits seamlessly into any creative vision.

      Ettore Sottsass

      Designer

Ettore Sottsass (1917–2007) was an Italian architect and designer who revolutionized 20th-century design by blending radical aesthetics with emotional resonance. Best known as the founder of the Memphis Group in the 1980s, Sottsass broke away from modernist minimalism and embraced bold colors, geometric forms, and playful irreverence.

His work spanned architecture, furniture, ceramics, electronics, and industrial design. Whether designing typewriters for Olivetti or expressive side tables for Memphis, Sottsass believed design should evoke joy, provoke thought, and defy convention.
