Designed in Detail. Built with Devotion.

True craftsmanship doesn’t just imitate—it understands.

UF Orion Let Me Kiss the Sun Chair is a tribute to Nanna Ditzel’s 1993 masterpiece, the Trinidad Chair.

Every curve, every carved slit in the backrest, and every fastener has been studied and re-created with intention.

We didn’t chase mass production—we chose precision.

Our 1:1 reproduction respects the original design down to its soul.

From the way light filters through the backrest to the elegance of its silhouette, it’s made for those who know that good design whispers, not shouts.

We don’t claim perfection. But we do promise sincerity—in every contour, in every chair, in every batch of only a hundred made each month.

      4 Finishes. One Quiet Masterpiece.

Character comes in many shades—so does timeless design.

The UF Orion Chair offers four expressive finishes: deep black walnut for bold contrast, understated gray for cool modernity, classic matte black for sleek harmony, and our featured tone—vintage ash—for a calm, nostalgic warmth.

Each color pairs effortlessly with different interiors, but vintage ash, as shown, adds depth and subtle movement in the grain—like sunlight filtered through wooden blinds.

It’s not loud. It doesn’t need to be. This is a chair that knows presence comes from restraint.

      Nanna Ditzel

      Designer

Nanna Ditzel (1923–2005) was a trailblazing Danish designer, celebrated for her bold approach to modernism and her ability to bring poetic expression into functional furniture. One of the few prominent female voices in Denmark’s mid-century design movement, Ditzel broke conventions with her use of organic forms, experimental materials, and a sense of playfulness in everything from furniture to jewelry.

A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, she worked independently from the 1950s onward and was a strong advocate for design that resonates with both beauty and practicality.

Precision-Crafted with Strength in Every Curve

Making a backrest that’s too thin means breakage. Too thick, and you lose the grace. That’s why we struck a balance—using 10mm, 7-layer birch veneer, pressed and molded with care.
The result? A gently curved silhouette that feels as light as a potato chip in form, but is reinforced with surprising strength. The seat and backrest use advanced wood compression and heat-bending techniques, ensuring not just beauty, but durability. Every bend is engineered—not just to impress—but to support, comfortably and confidently, for years to come.

Wave-Like Curves. Light That Moves With You.

The design isn’t just about how it looks—it’s about how it feels to live with it. The sculptural backrest and seat feature precision-cut openings, creating a play of light and shadow that shifts with your space. It’s not decoration. It’s intentional design.
The wide seat gives your hips and thighs room to breathe, whether you’re upright and focused or leaning back with a book. And thanks to the gentle curves, you’re never locked into one position. It lets you sit how you want, for as long as you want—comfortably.

Steel That Grounds. Style That Elevates.

The legs are made from carbon steel—not just for show, but for strength. With clean, uninterrupted lines, they give the whole piece a crisp, modern silhouette that instantly tidies up any space. It’s the kind of design that whispers elegance without trying too hard.
No wobbling. No scratching. Each leg is finished with soft, quiet pads that protect your floors and keep things steady, whether you're on hardwood, tile, or concrete. It’s support you don’t have to think about—and that’s exactly how it should be.
